Exactly this is what rights is all about


This is not a service but a money making issue.

The streaming thing is really about maximizing the products value and rights. Disney owns content and frankly they want all to pay for it. (Disney owns so much content too) With ESPN portfolio they own the rights for sports teams, therefore they can be the exclusive provider for these services.

The key is the platforms of TV stations, franchises and the middle providers and what do they offer??? Im afraid they will evolve into the am fm world where you get a bunch of wack talk shows with crazy rumors....
